Azerbaijani rep elected as ICDO Sec.-Gen.

The head of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan, Colonel Erguj Kalantarli, has been unanimously elected Secretary General of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO), Report informs.
The elections for this post were held among candidates from four member countries of the organization: Azerbaijan, Serbia, Burkina Faso and Tunisia.
Kalantarli expressed gratitude for the trust shown and assured that he would make every effort to fulfill his duties at a high level.
The elections took place within the III extraordinary session of the ICDO General Assembly in Baku.
