Azerbaijan’s diplomatic office to open in Lisbon

Azerbaijan’s diplomatic office will open in Lisbon, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Vatican and Portugal Ilgar Mukhtarov said at a meeting with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Report informs.

He noted that Azerbaijan attaches special importance to bilateral relations with Portugal, and plans to open a diplomatic office in the city of Lisbon in the near future.

During the meeting, the ambassador of Azerbaijan presented his credentials to President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
