UEFA to send delegation for Qarabag-Basel match in Baku

UEFA will send a special delegation to Baku to inspect the stadium to host the group stage match in the Nations League between Azerbaijan's Qarabag and Swiss Basel FC, Report informs, citing the spokesman of the Aghdam club Gunduz Abbaszade.

He said the confederation official would view the lawn at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium and Baku Olympic Stadium (BOS).

"We want the match to take place at the central arena. But the game will likely be transferred to BOS," he said.

The Qarabag-Basel match will start at 20:45 on September 16.
