UEFA suspends Liverpool defender over doping violation

Baku. 28 April. REPORT.AZ/ Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has been suspended by UEFA for 30 days following a doping violation, Report informs citing the official website of the UEFA.
European football's governing body announced they have opened disciplinary proceedings against the 26-year-old.
Sakho failed a drugs test taken after Liverpool beat Manchester United in the Europa League last month.
The suspension is provisional until a decision is taken by UEFA's control, ethics and disciplinary body.
