Turkey expects peak of inflation in spring

The Turkish Ministry of Finance predicts the peak of inflation in April, Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati said, Report informs referring to NTV channel.
“We predict that inflation will peak in April below 50%,” Nebati said.
In 2021, annual inflation in Turkey accelerated to 36.08% amid fluctuations in the lira exchange rate. The depreciation of the national currency intensified amid several consecutive cuts in the discount rate by the country's central bank.
