State mortgage lending in Azerbaijan grows by nearly 9%

In the first quarter of 2025, 125 million manats $73.53 million) of credit was issued through the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) in Azerbaijan, Report informs with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This figure is 8.7% more compared to the same period of 2024.
During this period, the amount of loans refinanced by the Fund increased by 1.1% to reach 71.4 million manats ($42 million).
In the first quarter of 2025, MCGF attracted 200 million manats ($117.65 million) by issuing bonds, which is 42.9% more compared to a year ago. The amount of funds allocated to the Fund from the state budget over a year increased by 94.5% to reach 42.6 million manats (25 million).
