Social protection expenditure in Azerbaijan up 62%

Azerbaijan will allocate 521 million manats ($306.5 million) or 1.4% of the state budget expenditures to social protection in 2024, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance.

According to information, this is 62.3% more than the approved forecast of 2023.

Social protection expenditure will make 11.5% of social protection and social security costs.
