Insurance collections in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan down by 8%

In January-April of 2025, 4.389 million manats ($2.581 million) of insurance premiums were collected through five insurance companies in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Nakhchivan Office the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the data, this is 8.1% less compared to the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, the volume of insurance payments made in Nakhchivan grew by 22.4% to reach $360,000 manats ($211,764).
In April alone, 821,000 manats ($482,941) of insurance premiums were collected in the autonomous republic, and 176,000 manats ($103,529) of insurance payments were made in return, which is 19% less and 57.7% more, respectively, compared to the previous year.
