IMF announces outlook for ratio of Azerbaijan's current account surplus to GDP

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts that Azerbaijan's current account surplus will be 24.6% this year compared to its gross domestic product (GDP), Report informs, citing the Concluding Statement of the IMF on the 2022 Article IV consultation from May 25 to June 7, 2022, in Baku.
According to the document, this is 9.4 percentage points more than the actual indicator of last year.
It is expected to be 21.6%, 21%, 16.3%, 10.7% and 9.1% respectively in the next 5 years (2023-2027).
