Global inflation will be 7% this year - IMF

Global inflation will decrease, although more slowly than initially anticipated, from 8.7% in 2022 to 7% this year and 4.9% in 2024, Report informs, citing the World Economic Outlook by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Thus, the IMF increased the forecast for the current year by 0.4 percentage point, and for 2024 by 0.6 percentage point compared to the January update.
