Foreigners see 17% rise in deposits in Azerbaijani banks

Baku. 29 October. REPORT.AZ/ As of October 1, 2018, non-residents’ deposits in Azerbaijan-based commercial banks stood at AZN 835.7 million, up AZN 123.7 million or 17.4% from previous month, Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

Foreigners’ deposits in manat increased by 68.8%, in USD – by 10.8%.

AZN 699.5 million or 83.7% of non-residents’ deposits are in foreign currency, AZN 136.2 million or 16.3% are in manat.

Individuals’ deposits in the banks amounted to AZN 8,199,100,000, with AZN 7,363,500,000 resident, AZN 835,700,000 non-residents deposits.
