Report informs, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Elman Rustamov said.
According to him, the exchange rate of the national currency has been stable for more than a year, and expectations by real sector and population over changes in exchange rate reduced.
In addition, CBA governor noted that the level of loan rates in Azerbaijan not only determined by the level of interest rate: "This rate gives a signal. We expect this effect to be transmitted to the economy. In general, there are problems with the recovery of financial intermediation. It is not just measured by the value of money. If we want to reduce rates, we have to solve problems in this ecosystem."
