Azerbaijani banks post decrease in dollarization of individual deposits

Baku. January 3. REPORT.AZ/ Dollarization level of individual deposits in Azerbaijani banks made up 62.56% as of December 1, 2019, down 0.98 percentage point from the previous month, Report informs referring to Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

This figure was 63.54% as of November 1, and 62.55%  on September 1. In early 2018 the dollarization level was 66.5%.

The amount of Azerbaijani population’s deposits in banks stood at AZN 8,073,500,000, of which AZN 5,051,100,000 was in foreign currency.
