Azerbaijan's insurance premiums up 12.5% in first 7 months of 2025

A total of 937.66 million manats ($551.56 million) in insurance premiums were collected by 16 insurance companies in Azerbaijan during January–July 2025, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This figure represents a 12.5% increase compared to the same period last year.
Insurance payouts during the reporting period amounted to 529.31 million manats ($311.35 million), marking a 20.7% rise year-on-year.
For every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in premiums over the seven months, 56.4 manats ($33.18) were paid out in claims. This is up from 52.6 manats ($30.94) during the same period in the previous year.
