Azerbaijan's insurance market up by over 17%

In January- February of 2025, over 281.2 million manats (almost $165.4 million) of insurance premiums were collected through 17 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, representing a 17.3% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, payments from insurance companies grew by 11.45% to almost 108.6 million manats (approximately $63.9 million).
Over the course of two months, 38.6 manats ($22.71) of insurance premiums were returned to customers for every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in the insurance market. This figure stood at 40.6 manats ($23.88) in the same period of 2024.
