Azerbaijan's insurance market grows by nearly 12%

In January-May 2025, 719.35 million manats ($423.14 million) of insurance premiums were collected through 16 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, 11.75% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The amount of payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period totaled 314.79 million manats ($185.17 million), representing a 14.5% increase over the previous year.
For every 100 manats ($58.8) of insurance premiums collected in the insurance market during the five months, 43.8 manats ($25.76) were paid. In the same period last year, this figure was 42.7 manats ($25.12).
