Azerbaijan's economy up 4.1%

Azerbaijan's nominal GDP in 2024 amounted to 126.3 billion manats ($74.294 billion), with real economic growth estimated at 4.1%, Report informs via the State Statistics Committee.
Over the past year, the oil and gas sector grew by 0.3%, while the non-oil and gas sector grew by 6.2%. In the GDP structure, industry accounted for 35.9%, trade and vehicle repair - 10.7%, transport and warehousing - 7%, construction - 6.7%, agriculture, forestry and fishing - 5.7%, tourist accommodation and catering - 2.4%, information and communication - 1.9%, other sectors - 19.9%. The share of taxes in GDP was 9.8%.
Last year, GDP per capita amounted to 12,382.5 manats ($7,283).
Azerbaijan's GDP growth in 2023 was 1.1%.
