Azerbaijan is represented in the 55th ADB Annual Meeting (2nd stage), which started September 28 in Manila, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry.
The first stage of the meeting was held in May this year. The agenda of the annual meeting, which is held in a hybrid (in-person and online) format with the participation of ministers, senior state and government officials of member countries, includes the bank’s 2021 climate financial report, the sustainable development goals in the Asia-Pacific region, new challenges after COVID-19 pandemics, diversification of national economies and other issues.
Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov joined the September 29 meeting of the bank’s Board of Directors in video format. Members of the Board of Directors discussed the activities and financial results of the institution for the past year, the directions of the bank’s activities for the coming years.
