Azerbaijan more than doubles surplus in BoP

In the first quarter of this year, a surplus in Azerbaijan’s Balance of Payment (BoP) amounted to $ 3,453.8 million (+2.2 times), Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The surplus was formed by a surplus of $3,376.2 million (-14.6 times) in the current account, a surplus of $3.4 million in the capital account (a gap 1 year ago), a surplus of $1,302.6 million in the financial account (a gap 1 year ago) and a gap of $ 1,228.4 million in net errors and omissions (+3.7%).
