Azerbaijan discusses results of fintechs' activities in Q12025

Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Vusal Khalilov met with representatives of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association Public Union.

Report informs, citing the CBA, that the meeting discussed the results of the activities of organizations representing the fintech ecosystem in the first quarter of 2025 and their development priorities. Views were exchanged on initiatives such as establishing a risk-based control framework for payment service providers and ensuring payment security.

The meeting continued with a discussion of issues important for the development of the sector.
