Azerbaijan aims to increase non-oil and gas exports

Azerbaijan plans to increase the value of non-oil and gas exports in 2026 by 85% compared to 2021, Report informs referring to the “Medium-term budget framework of Azerbaijan for 2024-2027” published by the Ministry of Finance.
According to the document, the country’s economy should increase annually by an average of 3-4%, and non-oil/gas GDP by 5%, it is necessary to increase the share of the private sector in the economy to 88%, increase foreign direct investment in the non-oil sector by 10-15% in year, maintaining annual inflation in the range of 4±2%.
