Volume of electricity losses in Azerbaijan decreases

The volume of electricity losses in the networks of Azerishig OJSC (Azerbaijan’s energy operator) during transmission to consumers in 2023 amounted to 8.6% versus 8.7% in 2022, Director of the Center for Training and Innovation Araz Mammadzade said at a press conference on the results of Azerishig’s work in 2023, Report informs.
He noted that in 2015, when Azerishig was created, the percentage of losses was 10.2%
“To reduce losses, projects are being implemented using the latest technologies,” Mammadzade added.
