Kazakhstan tankers transport over 400,000 tons of oil from Aktau to Makhachkala

The Kazakhstani tankers Taraz and Liwa have transported 406,977 tons of oil from the port of Aktau in Kazakhstan to Makhachkala in Russia in autumn last year.

Report informs that, according to Kazmunaygas (KMG), the tankers have completed 63 round trips between the two ports.

Taraz and Liwa continue to operate on the Aktau-Makhachkala-Aktau route.

In November 2023, a grand ceremony was held in the port of Aktau to celebrate the registration of the Taraz and Liwa tankers which were purchased as part of cooperation between Kazmunaygas and AD Ports Group.
