IEA: Azerbaijan fell short of OPEC Plus quota by 70,000 barrels per day in December

Daily oil production in Azerbaijan in December 2024 amounted to 0.48 million barrels, same as in November, Report informs, citing the monthly report of the International Energy Agency (IEA).
According to IEA analysts' calculations, daily oil production in Azerbaijan in December was 0.07 million barrels behind the plan within the OPEC Plus agreement.
According to the agreement reached at the 36th OPEC Plus Ministerial Meeting, Azerbaijan's production quota for 2024 is 551,000 barrels per day.
