BTC oil transportation through Turkiye up about 9%

In July 2022, 18.517 million barrels of oil were transported through Turkiye via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, up 2,007,000 barrels or 12.15% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Turkish pipeline operator BOTAS.
In January-July 2022, the BTC pipeline pumped 125.634 million barrels of oil through Turkiye, a rise of 10,196,000 barrels or 8.83% from the seven months of 2021.
The BTC pipeline mainly carries oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields and condensate from Shah Deniz. Moreover, other crude oil and condensate volumes, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.
