Azerbaijan ships $2.55B in oil to Vietnam since 2010

SOCAR Trading SA, the trading arm of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), has delivered 35 shipments of Azerbaijani crude oil to the Dung Quat refinery in Vietnam from 2010 through the end of January 2025.
Report informs, citing Petrovietnam, that SOCAR Trading Singapore (a subsidiary of SOCAR Trading SA) supplied approximately 31.7 million barrels (equivalent to 4.34 million tonnes) of Azeri Light crude, valued at around $2.55 billion.
These deliveries were carried out under agreements and contracts signed since 2009 between SOCAR Trading SA and two subsidiaries of Petrovietnam—PVOIL and BSR—for the supply of Azeri crude to the Dung Quat refinery.
