Azerbaijan resumes importing kerosene from South Korea

In January–October 2023, Azerbaijan imported 25,000 tons (99% more year-on-year) of kerosene (except for jet kerosene) for $25.54 million (54% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 15,952 tons (+3.7 times) of kerosene from Turkmenistan for $10.3 million (+3 times), 6,499 tons (+2.5 times) from Belgium for $10.2 million (+2.5 times), 2,554 tons from Türkiye (+567 times) for $4.94 million (+247 times), 31.31 tons from South Korea for $74,140, and 7.14 tons (+11 times) from the US for $24,240 (+52%).

After 2 years Azerbaijan resumed kerosene imports from South Korea.

In 2022, 54.2% of all kerosene imported to Azerbaijan (from 16 countries) came from the Netherlands, and 24.5% from Belgium.
