Azerbaijan posts 4% growth in gas production

In January–October 2023, Azerbaijan produced 40.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas, up 4.2%, or 1.6 billion cubic meters, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.
10.7 bcm of gas production was extracted from ACG (-0.4 bcm, or 3.6%), 21.8 bcm from Shah Deniz (-1.1 bcm, or 5.3%), and 0.5 bcm from Absheron. SOCAR produced 7.1 bcm (+0.5 bcm, or 7.6%) of gas during this period.
