Azerbaijan imported over 53,000 tons of AI-92 gasoline in 1Q25

In January-March 2025, Azerbaijan imported 53,265 tons of AI-92 motor gasoline worth $42.214 million, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

According to statistics, compared to the same period in 2024, the growth in imports of this brand of gasoline in quantitative terms was 5.5 times, in monetary terms - 5.4 times.

In the structure of imports, supplies from Russia accounted for 39,916 tons of AI-92 gasoline (an increase of 4.1 times) worth $30.816 million (an increase of 3.9 times).

The share of gasoline supplies from Russia in the reporting period amounted to 74.9% of all imports of AI-92 gasoline to Azerbaijan.

In addition, 3,670 tons worth $2.978 million of gasoline were imported from Romania during this period, and 9,678 tons worth $8.419 million from Belarus.

In Azerbaijan, AI-92 gasoline is produced at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery.
