Austria plans to fill gas storage facilities by 80% by winter

Austria intends to fill its gas storage facilities by 80% by the beginning of the new heating season, Austrian Energy Minister Leonore Gewessler said, Report informs.
According to Gewessler, the federal government has decided to fill storage facilities by 80% by the beginning of winter and the next heating season. Austria's gas storage facilities are now loaded at 34.5 terawatt-hours, which is more than a third of the country's annual gas consumption.
