Weather temperature to reach 40 C on Sunday

The weather is expected to be mainly rainless in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on August 22, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan.

North wind will blow. The temperature on the Absheron peninsula will be +24 - +27 C at night, +35 - +38 C in the daytime, and +39 C in some places. In Baku, the temperature will be +25 - +27 C at night and +36 - +38 C in the daytime.

Atmospheric pressure will make up 758 mm Hg, relative humidity will be 60-70% at night, and 35-40% during the day.

The seawater temperature will be +27 - +28 C in Sumgayit, Novkhani, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba, and +28 - +29 C in Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, and Shikhov.

On August 22, it is expected to be mostly rainless in the regions of Azerbaijan. However, lightning, short-term rainfall, and hail are predicted in some mountainous places. East wind will blow. The air temperature will be +20- +25 C at night, +35 - +40 C in the daytime, in the mountains +13 - +18 C at night, +23 - +28 C in the daytime.
