Temperatures drop to -20℃ in Azerbaijan's mountainous districts

The National Hydrometeorology Service has released an update on the current weather conditions in Azerbaijan.
According to Report, as of 09:00, snowy and freezing weather persists across the country.
The lowest temperatures recorded include -4℃ in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, -3℃ in the Aran region, -10℃ in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and a chilling -20℃ in the mountainous areas.
The thickest snow cover was measured in the Gakh districts, reaching 75 cm, while waves on the Caspian Sea have risen to 3.8 meters.
