Heavy rain is expected in Azerbaijan tomorrow.

According to Report, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service, precipitation is expected intermittently in Baku and parts of the Absheron Peninsula on September 29.

Brief heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the peninsula.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, precipitation is expected in some areas from September 29 through the evening of September 30. Some areas may experience intense or heavy showers, thunderstorms and hail, while precipitation may turn to snow in high mountainous areas.

As a result, water levels in rivers are expected to rise, with a possibility of short-term flooding and mudflows on some rivers in the Greater and Lesser Caucasus and the Lankaran-Astara region.
