Western Azerbaijan Community condemns EU special rep’s biased stance towards Azerbaijan

The Western Azerbaijan Community (WAC) has strongly condemned the recent anti-Azerbaijani statements by EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar in the media, Report informs.

The Community emphasized that, speaking about the issue of internally displaced persons and their right to return to the region, Klaar applied this right exclusively to Armenians who voluntarily left Azerbaijan, and denied that Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia have a similar right.

“Toivo Klaar's attitude towards Azerbaijanis forced to leave their homes in Armenia is a kind of discrimination based on ethnic and religious affiliation,” the WAC statement reads.
