Vice-speaker: Young people should play important role in fight against smear campaign against Azerbaijan

Young people should play an important role in fighting the smear campaign against Azerbaijan, Vice Speaker of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev said at the event 1st Diaspora Youth Forum of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS): “Heydar Aliyev and the Turkic World” in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, the main driving force of Azerbaijan's victory is the youth:

"During the local anti-terrorist measures carried out by the Azerbaijani Army, we once again witnessed the youth policy founded by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Young people should play an important role in conveying the facts about our country to the world community and in fighting the smear campaign against Azerbaijan."

The vice-speaker also reminded that the Youth Day was celebrated in Azerbaijan for the first time among the CIS and Eastern European countries: "At the same time, in 2015, the Youth and Sports Committee was established in the Milli Majlis, and its first chairman was Fuad Muradov."
