Hamid Hamidov comments on Vedant Patel’s statement on monitoring mission in Karabakh 

The Media Director of Global Media Group, Hamid Hamidov, commented on the statement of the Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of State, Vedant Patel, regarding the necessity of a longer-term, independent international monitoring mission in Karabakh, Report informs.

The Media Director told Baku TV that Vedant Patel is the Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of State: “Just a day ago, he said that the Americans want to have their own international mission in Karabakh. It is not clear why they need it, and he does not clarify it. What will this international mission observe?”

“Because I don't remember in world history, even in contemporary history, that a country that liberated its lands treated the separatists who voluntarily stayed on those lands loyally and cared about them. As you know, no one expelled anyone, and the majority of the Armenian population of Karabakh voluntarily left these lands," he said.
