Finance Minister Samir Sharifov appointed as Azerbaijan's Deputy PM

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has appointed Finance Minister Samir Sharifov as Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The head of state signed a corresponding order, according to which Sharifov was relieved of his position as the country's Finance Minister and appointed as Deputy Head of Government.
Samir Sharifov had headed the Ministry of Finance since 2006.
