Final declaration of Azerbaijan National Urban Forum adopted

The final declaration of the Azerbaijan National Urban Forum has been adopted, Report informs.

More than 400 delegates from 44 countries took part in the two-day forum, which was held in Aghdam and Baku.

The forum is planned to be held annually.

President Ilham Aliyev, speaking in video format at the 11th session of the World Urban Forum held on June 27 in the Polish city of Katowice on the theme “Transforming Our Cities for a Better Urban Future” said that Azerbaijan wants to hold one of the regular sessions of the World Urban Forum and is ready for it.

The World Urban Forum is held every two years by the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-HABITAT).
