Azerbaijan extends special quarantine regime

Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a resolution "On additional measures to remove certain restrictions in the special quarantine regime."
Report informs that, according to the decree, to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the country and its possible consequences, the special quarantine regime in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been extended until 06:00 on July 1, 2022.
The mask mandate will be lifted in Azerbaijan from May 1.
Wearing medical masks in the territory of the international airport of Azerbaijan and the country's educational institutions is no longer mandatory but recommended.
