Security boss: Abominable elements in Armenia trying to sow discord among various ethnicities living in Azerbaijan

"At present, it is crucial to unite efforts against threats to the security of our republic," the head of the Azerbaijani State Security Service, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev said at the opening ceremony of the course on "National Security," Report informs.

Naghiyev spoke about the effective fight against possible risks by the relevant agencies in a coordinated manner.

The security boss stressed that despite Azerbaijan's calls for peace, forces living with revanchist ideas, who do not want to reconcile with the actual situation in the region after the war, are still taking destructive steps.

"Thus, the abominable elements in Armenia, unable to accept the current situation, are constantly conducting counter-propaganda against our country, trying to sow discord among the various ethnicities living in Azerbaijan, trying to strain relations between neighboring countries and our republic. Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the relevant state bodies are closely monitoring the possible provocations of the Armenians against our country and taking adequate measures."
