The number of Karabakh and Sunday schools in foreign countries will be increased in 2023, as it was discussed at the board meeting of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora in a broad format dedicated to the results of 2022 and the action plan of 2023, Report informs.
At the event, which began with the national anthem, a moment's silence was observed for the martyrs who died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Committee chairman Fuad Muradov said that the year 2022 has an important place in the activities of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the history of the Azerbaijani diaspora movement. He thanked President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention and care shown to the activities of the committee and diaspora organizations.
Fuad Muradov emphasized that in accordance with the tasks and recommendations of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, the number of Coordination Councils and Azerbaijan Houses, as well as Karabakh and Sunday schools will be increased in 2023 to coordinate diaspora activities.
