First open-air library opens in Azerbaijan's Shusha

The "Book Point," the first open-air library, has been opened in the center of Azerbaijan's Shusha as part of the Vagif Poetry Days, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Culture.
The project was implemented in partnership with the ministry, the Shusha State Reserve Department, Azercell Telecom LLC, and Aztelecom.
The goal of the library is to promote literature among the city's population.
The opening ceremony was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Culture Orkhan Fikretoglu, Executive Director of the Shusha State Reserve Department Tural Novruzov, and Director of Azercell's Corporate Communications Department Sona Abbasova.
It was noted that the "Book Point" will be open 24/7 and accessible to everyone.
People's poet Vahid Aziz was the first guest of the new library.
He recited his poems and answered questions from participants during a meeting moderated by Farid Huseyn, poet and essayist, Chairman of the Youth Council of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union.
