Samir Bezhanov: Azerbaijan's presidency at COP29 will help achieve fair results

Azerbaijan's presidency at COP29 will help achieve a fair and ambitious outcome on climate financing, Deputy Lead Speaker of the conference Samir Bezhanov told journalists on the sidelines of COP29.

"We will work very closely with the chairs of subsidiary bodies and with all parties to achieve a fair and ambitious result this year," he said.

Bezhanov noted that Azerbaijan urges all parties to focus on negotiations regarding the most important item on the agenda, that is climate financing.
