Roshydromet: Organizers of COP29 made great efforts to hold it at highest level

The organizers of the COP29 climate change conference in Baku have made great efforts to hold the event at the highest level, Igor Shumakov, the head of Roshydromet and deputy head of the Russian delegation at COP29, told NEWS.ru, Report informs.

According to Shumakov, the Russian representatives are satisfied with working at the conference and feel comfortable.

"Everything is excellent. The host party, our colleagues from Azerbaijan, have done everything possible to organize such a large-scale forum. As President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said, 70 thousand participants have registered for this conference.

More than 80 presidents and heads of government participated in the event during the first days of the forum. Therefore, the organization is at the highest level, and we are very satisfied and comfortable working here," he noted.
