Final decision on financing two solar power plants in Azerbaijan to be made tomorrow

The final decision on financing two solar power plants with a capacity of 760 MW will be made tomorrow, Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov said at a press conference within the framework of COP29, Report informs.

According to him, the results of the first auction for a 100 MW solar power plant will be announced on November 21: "Also, the Clean Energy Center will be opened in Baku today. All this demonstrates Azerbaijan's determination in the energy sector and commitment to global solidarity for a green future. COP29 initiatives are important steps aimed at promoting a sustainable energy future not only for our country but for the whole world."
