Climate activists demand reduction in fossil fuel use at COP29

Asian climate activists are holding a protest action on the sidelines of COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

Activist from Bangladesh, Amanullah Porag, said that the action calls for reducing the use of fossil fuel, particularly natural gas in the Asian region.

"We are against the expansion of LNG production in the Asian region. Our region has been heavily polluted by numerous gas projects. This rally aims to draw attention to projects and initiatives that are expanding the gas industry in the region," he said.
