Turkey's contribution to Aghdam's dev't is responsibility rather than business, says deputy minister

"Today, we are in the city of Aghdam, which was liberated after 30 years of occupation. Hopefully, we will be able to witness the reconstruction of this place," Turkish Deputy Trade Minister Mustafa Tuzcu said during his visit to Aghdam, Report reports.

"I am very pleased and proud to be here. Just as Turkey helped liberate Aghdam from occupation, it will also be a major supporter of the reconstruction work here. We commemorate our martyrs and veterans who played a role in ending the occupation. As our president noted during his visit to the region in June, together with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, we will do our best to contribute to the construction work here. It is a responsibility rather than a business.

Hopefully, this place will be "White Roof," "White House," "White Palace" [Aghdam means white house/roof in Azerbaijani] again and presented to the world in this way. I convey the greetings of our president and minister to all our Azerbaijani brothers," Tuzcu said.
