Azerbaijan posts 6% increase in number of active taxpayers

As of January 1, 2024, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan amounted to 806,900, an increase of 5.9% compared to January 1, 2024, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

During the year, the number of active VAT payers increased by 15.6% to reach 52,800. As of January 1, the number of active business entities increased by 6.3% to 217,400.
