Pakistani companies invited to COP29

Pakistani companies have been invited to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Azerbaijan in November 2024, Deputy Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Samad Bashirli said at the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum in Baku, Report informs.

"Although natural resources continue to play an important role in the country's economy, Azerbaijan remains committed to ecological sustainability. Hosting COP29 strengthens Azerbaijan's active role in global discussions on climate change and sustainability," he noted.
