'Letters from strange lands' staged at Academic National Drama Theatre

Baku. 22 November. REPORT.AZ/ “Letters from strange lands” has been staged at Azerbaijani Academic National Drama Theatre.

Report was informed in theatre’s press service, People’s Artist Marahim Farzalibayov directed the production based on writer and diplomat Hasan Hasanov’s work with the same name.

People’s Artists Ramiz Malik, Lalezar Mustafayeva, Haji Ismayilov, Honored Artists Kazim Abdullayev, Ajdar Hamidov, Elshan Jabrayilov, Vafa Zeynalova, actor Elchin Efendi are performers of main characters.

Notably, the work was first staged in 2003, directed by People’s Artist Ramiz Hasanoghlu under the name “Letters from Brussels”. The character of M.F.Akhundov was first performed by People’s Artist Aliabbas Gadirov, later by People’s Artist Ilham Asgarov.
